Los Angeles Kings will bring Stanley Cup to Wednesday’s Dodgers game

The Los Angeles Kings will bring the Stanley Cup to Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night and one of the Kings will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, according to a report from CBS Los Angeles:

 

Just before the Dodgers-Angels game, the Kings will take a special photo with both teams on the field to try to shrug a little magic for both teams. The Dodgers’ release did not specify what players will throw tomorrow’s ceremonial first pitch to the first-place Dodgers, but did say, ‘members of Kings’ will.In related news, the Kings spent Tuesday morning at the Manhattan Beach home of captain Dustin Brown drinking chocolate milk out of the Stanley Cup, according to the Los Angeles Times. The report also said that the championship parade is scheduled for Thursday: Players and their families, coaches and others are expected to ride in double-decker buses and other vehicles during the 30- to 45-minute parade. An hour-long “championship rally” is scheduled to begin at Staples Center at 2:30 p.m., featuring video highlights, presentations and speeches from several players, the team said.
